Yi Zimu is a tool designed to help foreign language learners study more efficiently by combining the power of AI with both online and local audio and video resources. Instead of watching passively, you can work through real content with bilingual subtitles, turning the media you already enjoy into practical learning material.

With Yi Zimu, subtitles for audio and video media are displayed in a clear list format, so you can navigate them quickly using keyboard shortcuts. When you come across unfamiliar words, phrases, or sentences, you can look up their translations on the spot, and you can also obscure parts of the screen to test yourself rather than relying on subtitles all the time.

The tool supports major video platforms such as YouTube, Bilibili (B 站), and Aliyundriver, making it easy to practice with the content you already follow. Built-in features like repeated playback, variable speed playback, and shadowing let you train your listening and speaking at a pace that suits you.

For offline study, Yi Zimu also supports local audio files (MP3) and video files (MP4) together with corresponding .SRT subtitle files, so your own saved materials can become part of your daily learning routine too.
