actdetect is an AI built to detect adult performers and naughty activities in images. Instead of manually searching around or asking potentially embarrassing questions, you could simply upload a picture and let the AI do the identifying for you, saving time and sparing awkward conversations.

The project started as an experiment and a proof of concept, and it clearly struck a chord: within just 6 weeks it achieved over 0.5 million hits, showing strong interest in this kind of automated image recognition.

Despite that early traction, actdetect lacked a credible monetization strategy, so the site is now closed. It remains a notable example of how quickly a niche AI idea can attract attention, even when the business model has not caught up.
