An embedded PTY terminal framework and an MCP bridge let these agents directly control and interact with your workspace, so they can actually run commands and work on real files rather than just suggest changes.

Unlike cloud-dependent tools, Athena keeps everything on your own machine. All memory, history, and orchestration stay local, featuring persistent local memory and session recall so your agents pick up right where you left off. A Tailscale-powered mobile companion app and system-wide voice dictation round out the experience, letting you stay connected and hands-free wherever you are.
