BioSeek Reader

BioSeek Reader is a browser extension for Google Chrome™ that converts biological terms within unstructured text into explorable objects. Instead of copying words into a separate search box, you simply browse as usual, and the terminology you encounter becomes interactive right where you read it.

Every recognized term is listed as a card on the side of your screen, presenting related entities such as genes, diseases, pathways, and drugs. These are organized in clickable groups, so a passing mention in an article can be turned into a structured overview in a single click.

The extension conducts semantic analysis to link synonyms, aliases, and old names of entities. When you explore a term, it retrieves documents containing any of these designations, not just full keyword matches, helping you find relevant material that a plain keyword search would easily miss.

BioSeek Reader recognizes more than 60 million terms and brings analytical searching power to various web sources, making it easier to dig into biology while you read.
