CutoutBG AI is a free online background remover built for photos, product shots, logos, signatures and illustrations. Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP up to 25 MB and 36 megapixels, and the AI finds the subject and cleanly separates it from everything behind it.

Soft edges — flyaway hair, fur, loose lace — come back as partly transparent pixels rather than a hard cut line. That is exactly where colour-matching background erasers usually fail, and where CutoutBG AI saves you the most retouching time.

One cutout gives you four outputs from the same panel: a transparent PNG, a solid colour background (white is one click away), your original background blurred behind the subject, or a second image of your own as the new backdrop.
