LocalMode UI is an open-source, MIT-licensed toolkit and shadcn-style registry designed for building privacy-first AI interfaces that run entirely in the browser. Every component is yours to copy, customize, and ship, so you never have to rely on a hosted service to deliver a polished AI experience.
The collection includes more than 100 copy-owned React components and 36 installable blocks covering chat, RAG, vector search, vision, audio, agents, privacy, and developer tools. Instead of stitching scattered pieces together, you can drop in ready-made building blocks and quickly assemble the interface your product needs.
Models run locally through WebGPU, with a WebAssembly fallback for broader browser support. That means your applications can work without servers or API keys, avoiding extra setup and ongoing costs while keeping user data on the device where it belongs.
