Upwork Cover Letter Generator Extension

Upwork Cover Letter Generator Extension works seamlessly on Upwork job post pages, saving you the hassle of starting every proposal from a blank page. With a single click, the extension automatically detects and reads the job description directly from the Upwork job page.

It then combines that job description with a predefined prompt and sends a request to the ChatGPT API using your own API key, which you can obtain from the OpenAI settings page. Your key stays in your hands, so the generation is tied to your personal OpenAI account.

Once the response comes back, the extension retrieves the generated text and presents it as a ready-to-use cover letter, displayed conveniently in the extension's popup. Copy it, review it, adjust it, and submit your proposal with confidence.
