2026 World Smart Industry Expo opens in Tianjin, focuses on cutting-edge tech applications

The 2026 World Smart Industry Expo opened today at the National Convention and Exhibition Center in Tianjin, themed 'Wisdom Moves the World, Energy Shapes the Future.' The expo covers 130,000 square meters and features over 700 companies. It includes six themed zones like AI core tech, smart connected cars, and low-altitude economy, with an embodied intelligence zone debuting as a standalone area. More than 200 new standards, products, and technologies are unveiled, all ready for real-world use. Events include the Asia Pacific Robot World Cup and a new smart tech hackathon. The expo runs through May 31, with professional days on May 28-29 and public days on May 30-31.
