Hunan TV and Mango TV premiered the first season 'Huaguo Mountain' of the mythological series 'Journey to the West: The Next Generation' on August 31. Produced by Mango TV, it's China's first AIGC long drama with 30 episodes, each 40 minutes long. Its real-time ratings ranked first among provincial satellite channels. The show adapts a late Ming novel, following the stone monkey Sun Xiaosheng 1080 years after Sun Wukong's apotheosis.
