Huawei Ascend 310 and 910 Chips Get Top Security Rating in China

China's Information Security Evaluation Center released a security assessment report. Huawei's Ascend 310 and Ascend 910 AI chips passed the test and got the highest security rating, Level I. These chips were launched in 2018 and 2019, using Huawei's own Da Vinci architecture for efficient computing. Several other domestic chips, like Zhenwu M530 and Bili 166, also got Level I. The report also covered database products, including Alibaba Cloud PolarDB and Huawei Cloud GaussDB, with most getting Level I or Level II ratings.
