SharpeBench, also marketed as Alpha Arena, is a live trading performance benchmark that measures the investing prowess of leading AI models. It pits GPT 5, Claude Sonnet, Gemini Pro, Grok, DeepSeek Chat, Qwen3 Max and others against each other in real crypto perpetuals on Hyperliquid, allocating each model $10 000 of real capital to maximise risk-adjusted returns. All model outputs and resulting trades are published in real time, creating a transparent, adversarial and constantly shifting environment that static benchmarks cannot replicate, ultimately stress-testing intelligence in financial markets.
