Bias Shield is a browser extension built to enhance Google Translate and DeepL Translator with practical bias-handling features. Machine translation often defaults to assumptions about gender and forms of address, and Bias Shield helps you catch and fix those moments without leaving your workflow.

The extension includes DeBiasByUs, a community tool that lets you report gender-biased translations and receive unbiased alternatives in return. It also features Fairslator, which automatically detects and corrects machine translation biases related to gender and forms of address as you translate.
