Camoufox is an open-source anti-detect browser layer built for AI agents and automated web browsing. Based on Firefox, it works with your existing Playwright code, so you can add stealth automation without rewriting your scripts.
Unlike tools that rely on JavaScript injection, Camoufox modifies fingerprints at the browser level itself. It can spoof navigator properties, screen characteristics, geolocation, timezone, locale, WebRTC IP data, WebGL parameters, fonts, voices, and other browser signals, keeping attributes consistent so your sessions look natural.
The project is designed to be lightweight and headless-first, with careful attention to memory efficiency. That makes it practical for running many automated sessions at scale, whether locally or on remote servers.
Beyond fingerprint control, Camoufox ships with human-like cursor movement, ad blocking, proxy and GeoIP support, and BrowserForge integration. It also includes tools for fingerprint injection and leak debugging, so you can verify that nothing gives your automation away.
