Alation ChatGPT Description Generator Extension

Alation ChatGPT Description Generator Extension is a Chrome extension that helps Alation users automatically generate descriptions for schemas, tables, columns, terms, policies, and queries using ChatGPT. Instead of writing documentation for every catalog asset from scratch, you get ready-to-use suggested descriptions in seconds.

Documenting assets in the Alation catalog can be tedious and time-consuming, especially when dealing with large numbers of schemas, tables, and columns. This extension simplifies that process by providing suggested descriptions on demand, significantly reducing the manual effort required and helping teams keep their catalog well-documented with less work.
