Most AI fortune telling tools simply hand the whole job to a language model and hope it knows what a Four Pillars chart looks like — and when it guesses, your chart pays the price. FateMaster splits the work instead: a deterministic rule engine computes the chart first, handling solar terms, the sexagenary cycle, true solar time correction, and palace and star placement, and only then does AI interpret what the engine produced. The chart itself is reproducible. Enter the same birth data twice and you get the same pillars; what changes between readings is the reading, never the astronomy.

Birth time is corrected for longitude rather than taken from the clock on the wall — a step most free BaZi calculators skip, even though it can shift the hour pillar for anyone born away from their time zone's meridian. Solar and lunar dates both work, and if you already know your four pillars you can enter them directly and skip the calculation entirely.

Compatibility here goes well past romance. Ten different pairings each read differently in BaZi: marriage, dating and love compatibility, business partnership, leader and subordinate, parent and child, mother and child, mother-in-law, close friends, friends, plus a full relationship network view that maps them all at once.
