HyperFrames is an open-source framework, originally developed by HeyGen, that enables AI agents and developers to compose and edit videos using standard web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. If you already know how the web works, you already have the skills to build videos with it.
At the heart of HyperFrames is a 'Vibe-Coding' workflow: programmatic video creation is handled entirely through code, which unlocks a high degree of automation and makes it easy to integrate with AI tools. Instead of clicking through a timeline, you describe and iterate on videos the way you would on any other codebase.
The project is licensed under Apache 2.0, so the community is free to build upon it, adapt it, and integrate it into a wide range of workflows, from personal experiments to production pipelines.
