Khanmigo

Khanmigo is an AI-powered personal tutor and intelligent teaching assistant developed by the trusted educational nonprofit organization Khan Academy. For learners and families, Khanmigo offers engaging, strictly on-topic, and highly effective learning experiences for students, and is ethically designed with student safety and educational outcomes as the absolute top priorities. Unlike other AI tools such as ChatGPT, Khanmigo doesn't simply provide direct answers to questions. Instead, with limitless patience and pedagogical expertise, it thoughtfully guides learners to discover the correct answers themselves through Socratic questioning. Furthermore, Khanmigo is the only AI tool fully integrated with Khan Academy's world-class content library covering mathematics, humanities, computer coding, social studies, and numerous other subjects. For teachers, Khanmigo is specifically designed to minimize tedious busy work. Tasks that normally require hours of preparation can be completed quickly with Khanmigo's assistance: differentiation strategies, detailed lesson plans, quiz question generation, optimal student groupings, engaging lesson hooks, exit tickets, comprehensive rubrics, and much more.
