Mastra

Mastra is an open-source TypeScript framework that makes it easier to build, deploy, observe, and continuously improve AI agents and AI-powered applications. Instead of stitching together scattered tools, developers get a unified toolkit that covers the full lifecycle of an agent, from the first line of code to production monitoring.

The framework comes with agent development tools, typed workflows, memory, workspaces, MCP support, human-in-the-loop functionality, model routing, and built-in observability. Typed workflows help you structure complex, multi-step logic with confidence, while memory and human-in-the-loop controls let agents retain context and pause for human approval when it matters.

You can self-host Mastra projects under the Apache 2.0 license, or deploy them through Mastra Platform to get managed infrastructure, monitoring, storage, and enterprise-grade capabilities out of the box.
