Moltbot AI is an open-source, self-hosted personal AI assistant built to take real work off your hands. Instead of switching between apps, you can ask it to carry out tasks autonomously right from the chat tools you already use every day, including WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, and iMessage.

It connects with more than 50 services, such as Gmail, GitHub, Calendar, and Spotify, so your messages, code, schedule, and music all sit within reach of a single assistant. Privacy comes first: everything runs on your own infrastructure, whether that is a Mac, a Windows PC, or a Linux server, meaning your data never has to leave your control.

Moltbot AI works as a proactive agent rather than a passive chatbot. It remembers context from past conversations and adapts to you over time, getting more useful the longer you rely on it.

You are also free to choose the brain behind the assistant. It is model agnostic, supporting cloud models like GPT-4 and Claude, or fully local models through Ollama if you want zero cloud dependencies. Moltbot AI is the actively developed evolution of the previous project, Clawdbot, and continues to improve with ongoing development.
