NotchIA

NotchIA is a native macOS application that turns the MacBook notch, or the menu bar, into an interactive control center and cockpit for your daily workflow. Instead of burying key information in menus and windows, it brings everything right to eye level, exactly where your attention already is.

At its core, NotchIA bundles a rich set of everyday utilities into one compact surface. You get a multi-source media player with synced lyrics, a scrollable calendar and reminders view, and sleek system HUD replacements for volume and brightness that look far better than the default overlays.

Productivity tools are built in as well, including clipboard history and handy file converters, so common tasks take seconds instead of extra apps. For developers, NotchIA offers active tracking for live AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, ChatGPT Codex, and GitHub Copilot, keeping you aware of what your assistants are doing at a glance.

There is also a localized news brief feature, powered on-device by Apple Intelligence, which summarizes news from RSS feeds you paste in yourself. All of this lives quietly in the notch until you need it, making the most of hardware you already own.
