Token Counter for ChatGPT

Token Counter for ChatGPT is a Chrome extension that brings real-time token tracking directly into the ChatGPT interface. As you type, it keeps a running count of your token usage, so you always know how close you are to the model's token limits before a message gets cut off.

Beyond simple counting, the extension offers insights into prompt length and complexity, helping you craft smarter, more informed ChatGPT interactions. Instead of guessing whether a long prompt will fit, you can fine-tune your wording on the fly and communicate more efficiently.

Privacy and security come first: the extension does not collect or send any of your data. Everything stays local, so you can monitor your tokens with complete peace of mind.
