Adobe Launches Firefly AI Assistant: Cross-App Autonomous Workflow Orchestration to Speed Up Creative Delivery

Adobe recently launched the Firefly AI Assistant, an intelligent agent tool with autonomous decision-making capabilities. Unlike traditional command-responsive AI, it doesn't require continuous user guidance—just set a goal and it can independently plan steps and complete tasks.

The assistant can execute multi-step workflows across Creative Cloud apps, covering core products like Photoshop and Premiere. Users describe their needs in natural language, and it orchestrates workflows and syncs results to various apps. It also learns user preferences to maintain style consistency and integrates Frame.io review features for collaboration. Beta testers will get access in the coming weeks.
