Adobe's Project Indigo Camera App Gets AI Editing Features
Adobe is testing a camera app called Project Indigo, and the latest version 1.1 adds some cool AI photo editing tools. Users can remove distractions, add blur effects, adjust lighting, or apply artistic styles with just one tap.
The app's AI Playground can analyze your photos and give tips on how to shoot better or edit more. There's also a Custom Edit area where you can write, save, and reuse your own prompts. It currently uses Google's Nano Banana model, but may support other models later.
For now, AI Playground is a small test, only available to a few users for free in the coming weeks. Adobe will see how people like it before deciding whether to roll it out wider. If popular, it might become a paid feature. Adobe says it won't look at your prompts or photos, and only collects anonymous data without uploading anything.
