AI helps doctors see more patients, Philips survey finds
A new survey from medical tech company Philips shows AI is helping doctors be more accurate and save time. The survey covered 10 countries and included feedback from over 2,000 healthcare workers and 20,000 patients.
About 30% of doctors said AI helped them cut costs. 27% said AI helped them spot potential medical mistakes at least three times in the past three months. 36% said AI let them see more patients each week.
Right now, most healthcare workers use AI for tasks like organizing data and scheduling. Complex medical decisions are still made by humans. But 77% of healthcare workers said they don't have enough AI training or the training they get is not consistent.
