AI summer camps cost 30,000 yuan but parents worry it's a scam

This year, AI education brands like 'Teen Musk' became popular, with each course costing nearly 30,000 yuan. Many young kids are attending. Chen Zhongjie, from the Greater Bay Area Talent Association, said parents are very anxious about AI and want their kids to learn it in just a few days.

Many old summer camp organizers have switched to AI camps. Some even hold them in remote mountains. A Beijing camp offers a '6-day startup program' for 12,800 yuan, claiming 8-year-olds can become product managers.

But the market is full of scams. Some use 'free AI training' ads to trick elderly people into paying for fake courses. Experts warn parents to be careful about the hype and risks in AI education.
