Alibaba Cloud and NBA China launch official AI model NBA Chat

During the NBA Finals, NBA China and Alibaba launched their first official AI model, NBA Chat, available in the NBA China app. Powered by Alibaba's Qwen model and fine-tuned with NBA history and player data, it offers smart basketball Q&A. Fans can use it to break down plays, review games, and get key stats like player positions and scores. Last October, Alibaba became NBA China's official cloud and AI partner, and at last year's NBA China Games, they showed off 360-degree real-time replay tech using AI to capture player moves and create high-quality replays.
