Alibaba launches HappyHorse 1.1 video model with big upgrades

Alibaba just released HappyHorse 1.1, a video generation model with major upgrades in motion, consistency, instruction following, visual quality, and audio. It's now live on HappyHorse's site, Alibaba Cloud Bailian, and Qianwen Cloud.

The model creates 3 to 15-second videos at 720p or 1080p with any aspect ratio. It improves motion and multi-image reference, making characters and objects move smoothly and stay consistent. It also better understands complex prompts, handling multi-scene stories. Visually, it enhances skin texture and facial details, avoiding over-sharpening. Audio syncs better with video, adjusting dialogue and sound effects dynamically. Starting today, HappyHorse and Tiger Whale Entertainment are hosting the "Horsepower" AI film contest, with winners getting million-yuan deals and judged by director Zhang Jizhong.
