Alibaba launches Qianwen Office, merging three AI agents for enterprise market

Alibaba is pushing into the AI office market with a new product called Qianwen Office, which will be its key tool for enterprise agent services. The product is led by Chen Yusen, the new CEO of DingTalk, who took over from founder Chen Hang in June.

Qianwen Office will combine three existing AI agent products: QoderWork, Wukong, and MuleRun. It will be built on QoderWork, which has the most users and best market reputation. Wukong has been in a half-finished state for a long time, while MuleRun was mainly for overseas markets. Merging them is tough because each has its own team.

Another big challenge is integrating Qianwen Office deeply with DingTalk. DingTalk has a huge customer base in manufacturing, government, education, and traditional small and medium businesses. These businesses may seem like old-school products, but they bring in steady cash. Chen Yusen has already announced a major organizational shake-up since taking over.
