Alibaba launches QoderWake 1.0 digital employee platform

Alibaba has launched QoderWake 1.0, a digital employee tool. Users describe a job role in one sentence, and it creates a role profile. Once confirmed, it builds a digital worker that understands duties, teamwork, and permissions. It includes 10 preset roles like frontend developer, backend engineer, product manager, and data analyst, all pre-tuned with top team knowledge so they work right away.

The tool connects with DingTalk, Feishu, and WeChat Work. It reads company documents, spreadsheets, tasks, and group chats to keep digital employees updated. Safety features block risky actions and ask for user approval when needed.

In the past three months, nearly 100,000 digital employees have been used in real jobs, completing about 2 million tasks. This helps companies run smoother and lets human workers focus on important work.
