Alibaba launches Qwen3.8-Max-Preview with 2.4T parameters, big performance boost

Alibaba's Qwen team launched the new Qwen3.8-Max-Preview model on its Qoder platform, with 2.4 trillion parameters. This preview version shows big improvements over the previous flagship Qwen3.7-Max. In internal tests, it performs well on complex tasks like full-stack development, data analysis, and Office workflows, matching top global models. To promote it, Alibaba offers a limited-time deal: model calls cost 90% less, giving you 10x more usage. At night (10 PM to 8 AM), it's even cheaper at 0.2% of the regular price.
