Alibaba's Qwen announces Qwen3.8 model coming soon with 2.4T parameters

Alibaba's Qwen team announced that the new large language model Qwen3.8 will be released and open-sourced soon. The model has 2.4 trillion parameters and is being updated rapidly. They claim it might be the most powerful model besides Fable 5.

Right now, the Qwen3.8-Max preview version is already available on Alibaba's Token Plan, Qoder, and QoderWork platforms. More details haven't been shared yet, but they hint at big performance improvements.
