Alibaba's Qwen platform now supports AI glasses development

Alibaba's Qwen open platform launched on August 10, supporting apps, PCs, and AI glasses. On the glasses side, it offers skill development and industry customization. Developers can use camera and voice features to create skills for specific scenarios, like helping visually impaired users identify steps and obstacles with voice alerts.

For businesses, Qwen provides deeper customization, such as inspection assistants for industrial and retail settings that check equipment or shelves and flag issues. The platform plans to add more glasses features, including 3D spatial display and motion health sensing, expanding development possibilities.
