AliExpress and Tmall launch a global growth plan for Chinese brands
AliExpress held its annual summit in Shenzhen, China, with more than 15,000 sellers attending. At the event, AliExpress and Tmall launched a Global Growth Plan for Chinese Brands, offering seven support services for top brands, new AI hardware brands, and factory brands. Over ten brands, including Midea, Haier, and TCL, have already joined.
For AI hardware, the platform plans to make angel investments in promising brands and support more than 100 of them. Data shows AI hardware sales on AliExpress grew 100% year-on-year in the first seven months of 2026. Factory brands will get one-stop managed services, aiming to help over 1,000 factory brands double their growth.
Over the next three years, AliExpress aims to grow its brand count and brand GMV by 50% each year, and will expand into 66 new markets in Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Africa. The overseas Double 11 sale starts warm-up on October 29, with official sales from November 1 to 18. Its official warehouses now cover six countries, including Spain, France, and Germany.
