Alipay launches AI platform for businesses

Alipay launched its AI open platform today, inviting businesses and developers to test it. The platform lets shops connect the AI assistant 'Abao' and share services across phones, cars, smart glasses, and IoT devices. Businesses can upgrade their mini-programs or APIs into AI-ready tools without starting from scratch. Once connected, services reach Alipay's 1 billion users and smart devices. Alipay says existing mini-programs won't be affected. The platform also handles hosting, transactions, and security features like identity checks and payment protection.
