Amap launches ABot-World Studio: turn text or images into interactive 3D worlds
Alibaba's Amap has launched ABot-World Studio, a world model workshop now open for testing. It combines interactive video generation with 3D scene creation—users just input text or an image to get a real-time interactive, shareable AI world, output as video and 3DGS files.
The workshop can run locally on a single RTX 5090 GPU with no limit on inference duration. In tests, continuous inference ran stably for over an hour without crashes or quality loss, while similar models usually max out at around one minute. It also features a "space-time portal" that jumps you to another complete 3D world each time you cross it.
The underlying ABot-World models are fully open-source, covering video and 3D generation. They can serve as simulation environments for robotics, support boundless game world exploration and quick storyboard creation for filmmakers, and let users step into historical scenes or famous paintings in education and tourism.
