Anthropic adds Claude Opus and Sonnet to voice mode, expands to Gmail and more
Anthropic has added Claude Opus and Sonnet models to voice mode, and extended it to apps like Gmail, Slack, and Canva. Before, voice mode only supported the faster but weaker Haiku model.
Anthropic says Sonnet and Opus are built for complex tasks, offering deeper analysis and direct action. For example, Claude can turn a conversation into a pitch deck, or reschedule a calendar when a train is late. Users can switch between text and voice freely, and change models mid-conversation.
Voice mode now supports French, German, Spanish, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Portuguese, all out of beta and fully available.
