Anthropic Clarifies Document Error: Claude Pro Users Still Retain Opus Model Access

Recently, Claude Pro users were concerned after an official support document update suggested they needed extra payment to use Opus models, leading many to think their subscription benefits were reduced.

Anthropic later clarified via its Reddit account that the info came from an outdated article. After Opus was added to Pro subscriptions, the old restriction note on the page wasn't removed in time, a maintenance oversight.

The official confirmed Pro users don't need extra fees and will keep access to Opus models.
