Anthropic Considering New Funding Round, Valuation May Reach $900B to Surpass OpenAI

AI startup Anthropic is weighing a new funding round, with its valuation expected to reach $900 billion. This figure would surpass OpenAI and make Anthropic the world's most valuable AI startup. OpenAI was valued at $852 billion when it completed its funding round in March this year.

Anthropic's current official valuation is $350 billion, which will double in the new funding round. Google and Amazon previously invested $10 billion and $5 billion respectively in Anthropic at the $350 billion valuation, and both giants have promised to make additional investments later. However, it's not yet clear if they will participate in this new funding round.
