Anthropic drops $6B Decart acquisition plan

According to Bloomberg, US AI firm Anthropic has dropped its plan to buy Decart, an Israeli AI lab, in a deal valued at $6 billion. Sources say Anthropic completed due diligence but decided not to proceed, and the two may explore other partnerships. Decart, founded in 2023 by three Israeli engineers, optimizes AI stacks across hardware and develops world models. It raised $300 million in Series B funding in May, with investors including Amazon, Nvidia, Adobe, Toyota, and eBay.
