Anthropic Launches Claude Reports to Show How Staff Use AI

Anthropic has rolled out a new Claude smart reports tool. It is now open to paying Claude Enterprise users. Managers can turn it on in settings and see how their teams use this AI tool. The tool creates charts showing how a team uses AI, what it produces, and what it costs. Managers pick a team, a time range of up to 28 days, and the products to track. The system reads team chats, sorts them into types like code or tech docs, and adds up the costs. Each company gets 10 free reports a month. Such tools may worry some workers. A US survey found one in four managers often use AI for people decisions. Anthropic says these reports are meant to plan AI spending, not to judge individual performance, and it blocks sensitive topics like race or religion.
