Anthropic Launches Claude Science, an AI Platform for Scientists
Anthropic has launched Claude Science, an AI platform designed to help scientists work more efficiently. It creates a unified research environment, reducing the hassle of managing multiple databases, file formats, and tools. Available in beta, it helps with literature analysis, multi-step research, and generating results. The platform uses a main AI agent with over 60 skills and connectors, which can start other agents and has a review agent to check work. Each output comes with a clear history for easy verification. Scientists can refine charts and text until they're ready for publication. During internal tests, it was used for RNA sequencing, CRISPR selection, protein structure prediction, and chemical informatics. Now, it's open to Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise users. Anthropic will also fund up to 50 science projects.
