Anthropic's Claude Design hits 1 million users, tightens link with Claude Code
Anthropic announced that its design tool Claude Design has surpassed 1 million users in its first week. The tool now supports importing design systems from GitHub repos, design files, or uploaded assets, and automatically checks if outputs match existing component standards.
Claude Design now works closely with coding tool Claude Code: users can pull design systems via /design-sync, then pass finished designs directly to Claude Code to turn them into software. The editor adds layout controls for drag, resize, and alignment, with hundreds of fixes improving stability.
Usage quotas are shared with Chat, Claude Cowork, and Claude Code, giving most users more room to create, fewer tokens per interaction, and lower error rates. Exports support PDF, PowerPoint, or sending to apps like Adobe, Canva, and Replit.
