Anthropic to upgrade Claude voice mode with stronger models

Tech site testingcatalog reports that Anthropic may upgrade Claude's voice mode this week with a new model selector. Currently, the voice mode uses Claude Haiku 4.5 for full voice conversations. After the upgrade, users can switch between Opus, Sonnet, and Haiku models, with a setting to control thinking levels. The company's Mythos-level Claude Fable model is not yet available in voice options.
