Apple brings Google Gemini to Apple Intelligence at WWDC26

At WWDC26, Apple announced a partnership with Google to bring the Gemini model into Apple Intelligence, along with a new AI architecture that runs both on-device and in the cloud. The second-generation on-device model adds dictation, natural language understanding, more expressive voice, and screen awareness. Apple says privacy stays the default, with on-device and cloud processing keeping your data safe.
