Apple to launch AI smart home devices in 2026, including new Apple TV with A17 Pro

According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Apple plans to launch several new products at its fall 2026 event, including a 2026 Apple TV, a new HomePod mini, and a smart home hub.

The 2026 Apple TV (codename J265) will get an A17 Pro chip, supporting Apple Intelligence and Siri AI, with the same square rounded design. The new HomePod mini (codename B525) will use the S10 SiP chip for better sound, still priced at $99.

The smart home hub (codename J490/J491) is a home control center with an A18 chip, Face ID, and a presence sensor, running apps like Safari and Apple Music. Expected release is October 2026 or early 2027.
