ASUS launches a new NVIDIA MGX-based server built for agentic AI
ASUS has unveiled a new 2U server, the XA P2N-E2, at the OCP Global Summit 2026. It is built on NVIDIA's MGX architecture, comes with a Vera CPU, and supports up to two RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell server GPUs, targeting AI workloads that need dense computing power.
The server is designed for agentic AI and reinforcement learning tasks. It can handle things like code execution, tool calls, and sandbox computing, making it a good fit for AI agents that run multi-step tasks on their own.
ASUS also showed several other servers at the event, including the XA VR721-E3 based on the Vera Rubin NVL72 platform, the XR R1I12B-M1BHFS with an air-cooled CPU and liquid-cooled GPU, the 1U RS700A-E14B-R16U with dual EPYC 9006 chips, and the AMD-based air-cooled AI solution ESC8000A-E13P, covering AI deployments of different scales.
