Australian Neocloud Firmus builds NVIDIA-powered liquid-cooled AI factory in Indonesia

Australian AI cloud provider Neocloud Firmus announced it will build a liquid-cooled AI factory in Batam, Indonesia, powered by NVIDIA chips. The facility, developed with DayOne, has a power capacity of 360MW.

Under a strategic partnership with NVIDIA running through 2034, NVIDIA will deliver 170,000 GPUs over two years, covering multiple generations including Grace Blackwell and Vera Rubin. Firmus expects $25-30 billion in revenue from committed purchase agreements in the first six years. NVIDIA also conditionally joined Firmus's equity financing in April.
