ByteDance integrates AI office tools under Doubao brand

ByteDance is integrating its AI office products, merging the TRAE and Coze teams into the Doubao system. TRAE Work and Coze will combine with Doubao for workplace features, while TRAE IDE and CLI will continue as coding tools under the Doubao brand. The teams now report to Doubao product lead Zhao Qi. Doubao may launch a standalone AI office app called 'Doubao Work' this week, serving as the unified brand for AI office use. ByteDance says the move aims to better coordinate resources and won't affect current users. Earlier, Feishu's team was also merged with Doubao for deeper collaboration in productivity.
