CaoCao Mobility starts AI division to become an AI-native company

CaoCao Mobility plans to set up a separate AI division to push its AI strategy and shift from a mobile internet company to an AI-native one. It has posted a 'Chief AI Officer' job online, with duties like setting AI strategy and building core AI capabilities.

CaoCao Mobility, a ride-hailing platform under Geely Holding Group, was founded in 2015 and covers services like ride-hailing and carpooling. In 2025, its total revenue hit 20.2 billion yuan, up 37.7% year-on-year, with gross margin rising to 9.4% and adjusted net profit turning positive in Q4.

The company is speeding up its Robotaxi shift, with over 100 Robotaxis deployed and a partnership with Abu Dhabi Investment Office for overseas expansion. Its custom Robotaxi will debut in 2026, start mass production in 2027, and expand to more cities and global markets.
