ChatGPT Launches Dynamic Visualization Feature to Make STEM Learning More Intuitive
OpenAI has launched a dynamic visualization feature for ChatGPT, allowing users to interact with formulas, variables, and STEM relationships in real time. For example, when learning the Pythagorean theorem, adjusting the triangle's sides instantly updates the hypotenuse—no more static charts or text-only explanations.
The feature supports over 70 STEM topics like lens formulas and Coulomb's law. All logged-in ChatGPT users can access it now, with OpenAI planning to expand more interactive topics later.
This shifts ChatGPT from an answer provider to a concept explorer. Over 140 million people weekly use it for STEM learning. While some educators worry about over-reliance, many teachers and students integrate it into daily study. Google Gemini also launched similar tools last November.
